Plastic Prison:

Flickering Auras & Passing Awareness

Collage made by combining multiple photos and illustrations. Tools and software include Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator; Selections and transforming; Adjusting levels and color, Bevel and other blends, as well as paint tools.

Original Photo

Taken randomly while I was out walking during a large event for the community. The picture came out rather blurry, as you can see, but there were a few things I liked about it, and I felt it was worthy of creating a fine art piece.

Development

I began making individual selections and playing with the colors. As seen here I also added a few more visual elements. I creating some of these additional elements using Illustrator, and also downloaded a few pictures of appropriate animals to bring my concept together.

Technical Adjustments

I wanted to make the central face stand out the clearest. Using Photoshop I was able to adjust the sharpness and by adding some filters the face began to pop out from the rest of the picture as a central element.

Here is the final piece of art. The animals were adjusted in much the same way as the face to stay with consistency except I didn't feel the should be quite as sharp. I feel this piece depicts many personal interests of mine, but in the end it was finished for pleasure.
